Pastry Chef Michael Allen, along with his family,  opened Desserts by Michael Allen November 1, 2008 on Fulton Street in the Clinton Hill area of Brooklyn, NY.  Chef Michael has been a leading force in the hospitality industry since 1984.  Second generation to the profession, Michael has served as pastry chef at the following, Hisae’s Restaurant (a Herb Wetanson & Hisae Vilca creation), the United Nations, Essex House, Bice International, the iconic Delmonicos, and Water`s Edge. Not forgetting to mention, bringing the legendary Levana Restaurant up to a level of not being surpassed by any dessert menu in the New York restaurant scene of the mid 1990’s. It is now 2021 and Chef Michael is manufacturing chocolate and the long time favorites of the Nostrand Avenue location.  Retail sales at this location have been discontinued to manufacture chocolate and bring to you MA Confectioner Online.

 

 MA  Confectioner is a chocolatierie that manufactures chocolate from bean to bar  as well as confectionary favorites that people have been known to love from Desserts by Michael Allen and the Michael Allen International Confectioner Brands. You can now purchase your all time favorites from the website online to be delivered to your home or office.

From Bean To Bar

QUALITY CHOCOLATE MADE IN SMALL BATCHES 

Our chocolates are made from the finest cocoa beans from many different origins available to us. We roast then conch our cocoa beans any where from 12 to 72 hours , depending on what smoothness we’re trying to achieve. From that point, we make our bars and fillings for final product. All of our confections are truly artisanal (small batches).

This assures you are receiving fresh product and not products that have been inventoried for months in a warehouse.
